racer96's Diaryland Diary

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Come on Canucks.

So, a day after I come back to Diaryland saying how I will make such a conscien,,,,, consciou,,,, big effort to keep updating daily, I go and drop the ball.

No entry yesterday.

Damn I'm good.

Today, work has been extra craptastic. My computer kept telling me to bugger off, and made doing work very very difficult.

Thanks computer.

Aside from the work thing though, the day went really well.

Let's start with last night, shall we?

(Considering it's me writing this damn thing, and you just sitting there reading it, you're going to have to play along and start with last night...... unless you skip ahead a few paragraphs, but that would be cheating, and cheaters never prosper, so don't do that.)

Saw the Painting Daisies last night. It was great to see them again. :)

Beetle and I had just barely made it in the door when Carolyn jumped me from behind. They'd been having a good tour so far, and were happy to see me.

I gave each of the girls a different t-shirt, and chatted a little bit with them all. They soundchecked and played two short sets before the bar had to close down. However, plans were made to visit with them on Sunday and go for some sushi. Can't wait for that, should be a good time.

During the concert, a very strange thing happened. Renita had been giving Beetle a massage for a little while, and Carolyn (or Rachelle?) came over and asked if she took appointments, at which point another lady sitting at the tables chimed in with a "me too! She looks so relaxed!"

That wasn't very strange.

What was strange, however, was a few minutes later, when the same lady asked me several times to please give her a massage.

Finally she had begged enough, and I went over to give her a massage. And yes, Renita, she did say "You have very strong hands, thank you"

Blargh.

While massaging her, her friend came up, and brought her a drink, and exclaimed, "Here's your drink, wow you move fast"

*sigh*

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

I knew that the lady had to be older than me, and she was probably drunk, but, Beetle confirmed it when she told me that she thinks that she was probably about 40.

I was hit on by a 40 year old.

When I finally got away and went back to my seat, after about one song, the lady again reached across the table, grabbed my arm, and said "Thanks again, that was wonderful."

Did I mention that she was around 40 years old?

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Well, I was going to go into how today was a good day, but I'm actually falling behind again, so, I'm afraid I'm going to have to hold off until tomorrow.

The bad thing: I'm not going to be telling you the rest of my story.

The good thing: This pretty much guarantees I will have an entry tomorrow.

Of course, if you think my writing is in the class of monkeys throwing poop at each other, you may actually reverse those two things as the good/the bad thing.

It's all in the eyes of the beholder.
