racer96's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ran over the dog. You know, over the past few days I had so many brilliant things running through my head to talk about here. Things that would blow your mind. But as soon as I got a moment to actually post something here, I forgot absolutely everything. So instead you get to hear about how my mother ran over our dog. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= While I was away in Seattle over the weekend, my mother ran over one of our dogs. The slower, kinda dumb, kinda arthritic dog. Not to put any blame on the dog of course. So, she was backing up towards the garage. The other dog running around like a spastic uhhh, spastic,,, spaz. When suddenly she felt a *ka-thump* She thought perhaps she had run over one of the dog bones or something. Then she heard the whimpering, and that's when she panicked. She hopped out of the car, and found that, yes, indeed, the other dog was now stuck underneath the car. In a brilliant stroke of luck, however, the dog was in the middle of the car, and did not get run over by any of the tires. My father brought out the jack, lifted up the back of the car, and the dog scampered out from underneath. A little sorer, and a little disgruntled. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= My mother did end up taking the dog to the vet, where, 10 minutes and $50 later, he said "She's fine, maybe a little bruised and sore, but she's fine." But I'll be damned if that dog isn't playing up the injury for sympathy. Maybe she's not so dumb after all.
