One quick question going out to those of you living in, or being a citizen of the United States of America. Why do you guys pledge allegiance to your flag? Why not pledge allegiance to your country? Or to your nation? Or something like that? Why to the flag? And what if the flag changes? Do all your previous pledges go out the window? What if the flag that you are pledging to, gets set on fire.
