racer96's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Locked locked locked. Went and saw "The Rundown", last night after dinner with friends and family, and I really enjoyed the movie. It wasn't anything spectacular, but it did a fairly nice job of blending action with comedy. It helps that Christopher Walken was in it. Seann William Scott did a good job with his bit, and my girlfriend was surprised that The Rock could actually act. So, go see it. Enjoy. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= The real fun, however, began as we left the theatre. We exited the mall, and took the stairs down to the parking garage. Where the door was locked. We went to the back entrance, and of course, the doors were locked. We went back to the mall entrance, and, yes, you guessed it, the doors were locked. We broke into the mall entrance, and took the elevator down to the parking garage, and went on our way. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= By, "on our way", I meant, we left the parking garage, my girlfriend following me, and got her going the right direction on the road, and then I flipped around to take Chris back home. At which point I realized that I had left my cell phone on the back of the seat in front of me in the theatre. Oh joy. Another u-turn later, and I was back into the parking garage. And of course, the doors to the elevator were, that's right, locked. Luckily, some late stragglers from the theatre came out right about then, and we snuck in. Except, the button for the theatre floor was, well, not locked, but locked out. So, we took the elevator to the main floor, and then ran up the stairs to the theatre floor, where, yes, the theatre was locked. We pounded on the door to the theatre for a few minutes, until someone woke up or something, and came to see what was going on. We explained about the cell phone, and where it was, and she said that she would have a look for it. 10 minutes later she came out with the cell phone. I figure she made a quick call to a few psychic hotlines before returning the phone to me, but hey, at least I got my phone back. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Oh, we ended up taking the elevator back down to the car, and no doors were locked, so, I didn't figure I'd need to explain that bit, but then I thought maybe I should finish up the story, so there you go. Finish. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Well, that's about all I can think of for now. Hockey tonight. Hope you're having a good October.
