racer96's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hockey injuries, kinda. I've been playing alot of hockey lately, which is a good thing. Over the past year I've picked up alot of new gear, and that's helped immensely in me avoiding unnecessary injuries. (And really, which injuries are truly necessary anyways) The nice bonus of this, is that I can at least partially say that the gear has been justified. The only bad part about this, is that I haven't had any concussion fun entries lately. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Wait, that's not really a bad thing, is it? =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= In the game two nights ago, I did pull some muscle that seems to be right between the lungs and the ribcage. That muscle wanted to spasm like a sonofa, and it would make breathing not a whole lot of fun. Not breathing wasn't an option, however, so it just made it hurt for a while. That went away with some rest, but in playing last night, the injury has resurfaced, but, deeper. Like, in the lungs/back area. Otherwise, same location. It doesn't hurt when I breathe, thankfully. Unfortunately, it does hurt when I cough or sneeze. Did I mention that I've been fighting a cold for what seems like the last month or two? And that this particular version of the cold happens to make me feel like coughing nearly 45 seconds of every minute? So much fun. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Even more fun, when you are in a coughing fit, and then your nose starts tickling. I end up coughing, sneezing, and feeling like someone just squished my ribcage through my lungs. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= I did win the game last night though. So, that makes it all worthwhile. Or maybe not. At least it's better than having lost. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Now wasn't that just an enlightening comment to make. I'm like some sort of prophet.
