While running around yesterday doing various errands, I stopped at the bank to make a deposit and pay a bill. Generally using the drive through banking machines is great, and since there are two lines set up, it goes faster than going into the bank. Not yesterday. Yesterday one of the machines was down. Yesterday everyone in line in front of me seemed to be just a little bit slow in the head. It became particularly bad when the car in front of me pulled up to the machine, and sat there for two minutes. No arms came out the window. No movement. Nothing. And then I saw through her back windshield that she was talking on a cell phone. Lovely. So, after a few minutes pass, she realizes that she forgot her deposit envelope. So she backs up to get the deposit envelope. Then she seems to be a bit confused by the buttons on the bank machine, as it takes her literally 30 seconds between button pushes. And she had gotten off the phone by then. So, she wasn't talking with someone else, she was just sitting there staring at the screen, and then pushing one single button. . . . . . . and then another button. and so on and so on. She finally completed her transaction though, as I was yelling and cursing at her while inside my own vehicle. And she drove off. Leaving her debit card inside the machine.
