So, yesterday the Vancouver Canucks found themselves in the position of not having a backup goaltender. Much to my dismay, they never phoned me. Didn't e-mail me. Didn't even send me a text message. (Wait, my phone doesn't have text messaging enabled. Maybe they did! DAAAAMN!!) They did end up picking up the UBC backup goalie to sit on the bench. And thus, my dream of one day playing (or sitting on the bench) for the Vancouver Canucks has ended.
